"We believe music can be a transformative force that leads to a lifetime of joy and adventure. That’s what it did for me, and that’s why I started On The Road Music."
Preston Snyder – Founder, On The Road Music
I see myself in most of my students. I loved music, but I wasn’t musical.
Then came a sports injury, a guitar, and a realization—I could learn music, and I loved every minute of it. And guess what? I plan on enjoying it for the rest of my life. My mission is to show others they can do the same, whether or not they want to be a pro musician or teacher.
Look, we want you to stick with lessons for years. But that won’t happen if they’re inconvenient or uninspiring. Too many people quit and assume they’re just not the music type. We know better.
Real progress comes from real practice over time—but if you’re not inspired to play, you won’t practice. And if you don’t have the right teacher, you won’t get inspired. That’s why we handpick instructors who truly fit our mission—and we make sure they know they’re valued. Because when we’re all enjoying the ride, we play more, learn more, and keep On The Road to a lifetime of music.

Meet Kevin Llarena
Kevin and I go back—we both studied at the Atlanta Institute of Music, graduating in 2011. Since then, he’s spent over a decade teaching and performing in the Metro-Atlanta area, helping students grow as musicians and making lessons something they actually look forward to.
He’s the kind of teacher who makes an impact—not just by helping students become better musicians, but by being a solid, positive presence in their lives. In fact, I’m thrilled to have Kevin teach my own son, Phil. Guitar, drums, piano—the whole musical journey
Kevin’s passion for music is clear, whether he’s on stage or in a lesson, guiding students to find their sound. That’s why we’re lucky to have him On The Road with us.
Testimonials
Some of the best compliments we can get are from our parents and students.
We have been blessed to be able to teach so many adults and kids over the years and look forward to continuing to serve the Milton and Alpharetta communities with the best in-home music lessons in the area.
"Taking piano is one of the big highlights of my week! Within 2-3 lessons, I understood the basics of reading music and was able to play full songs by looking at the notes. I’m so excited to continue refining my new skills!"
"My kids had no musical background and within weeks were playing songs they enjoyed...both my 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter enjoy their lessons.”
